About the Owner - Adel Luzuriaga
Adel Luzuriaga is the legal owner of subject property for almost 20 years, which the adjacent neighbors have enjoyed as open space. The property includes the hilltop at the end of Hazbeth Lane.

Adel Luzuriaga is 36-yr resident and civic volunteer in the Glendale community.
She currently serves as 2007-08 president of The Character and Ethics Project, a community-wide effort promoting basic, non-partisan ethical values through various programs with schools, youth organizations, businesses and civic and religious groups. She is an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Glendale and is a past president of Fil-Am Kiwanis. She also serves on the board of the American Red Cross Glendale Chapter and the Foothill Apartment Owners Association. She has served as District Chairperson for the Verdugo Hills Council Boy Scouts of America (VHBSA), who honored her with recognition as a VHBSA Distinguished Citizen.
Adel entered the real estate business in 1975, determined to attain financial independence. She served as 1991 President of the Glendale Association of Realtors, and a recipient of the Realtor of the Year award. She is also a noteworthy past president of the Women's Council of Realtors. She holds the CCIM designation (Certified Commercial-Investment Member), a prestigious title awarded to commercial investment specialists who draw from market experience and advanced education to help clients analyze and meet investment objectives.
Ms. Luzuriaga is the founder and CEO of start-up nextBlock.com. The site provides an affordable and user-friendly means for "small business" to list their business, products and services online. nextBlock.com aims to capture the unique flavor of each community through their local offerings.
A few years before she immigrated to the US from the Philippines, she resided in Madrid, Spain to learn the Spanish culture and language. Adel's various interests include tennis, skiing, yoga, fitness and health, travel, reading, metaphysical studies, and thoroughbred racehorses. She is a four-time finisher of the Los Angeles Marathon.
